Meet at 1.30pm in the club house. Suitable for all club members who are expected
to do a club duty
Anyone unsure of how to do a duty can always turn up and assist the officer on duty to learn to the ropes.
Adults RYA Level 3 Better Sailing Course - 29th & 30th April
Times: 9.30am to 5pm Cost: £40 based on 6 sailors

Suitable for 16 year olds upwards who have been sailing regularly for at least a season

Race Rules Night - 3rd May
Time: 7pm to 9pm No charge.
A handy race rules booklet can be purchased for £3 on the evening or just ask for one when you are at the club. This evening is designed for all sailors beginners and experienced racers.

The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) are revised and published every four years by World Sailing, the international authority for the sport. The RYA makes prescriptions to the RRS and publishes the RRS together with the prescriptions and other addenda in the RYA booklet YR1.
Get get back on the water confidence sessions - 1st June to 31st August
Why not take advantage of our back on the water sessions - experienced sailors will be on hand to give new or less confident sailors confidence to get on the water and have fun.
Thursdays evenings from 1st June to 31st August from 6.30pm weather permitting

Cost: £25 (subsidised) Suitable for 16 year olds upwards
Course Content: Assumed knowledge: For start racing you need sailing knowledge to at least Level 2 standard.
Course content: From fun racing to regattas – all you need to know to get off the start line and round the course.
After completing the course: If you go all the way through to Advanced Racing you will have developed your techniques and skills to enable you to confidently take part in higher level competition.
